Step into our process and discover how easy it can be to begin your financial planning journey with a trusted financial adviser in New Zealand.
1. Free first meeting – no pressure, just clarity
We begin with a free, one-hour conversation where we ask, “What brings you in today?” That simple question helps us understand your goals and where you’re starting from—whether it's planning for retirement, managing retirement income, improving your KiwiSaver settings, or something else entirely. This isn’t a sales pitch—it’s us listening to what matters to you.
2. Planning tools – laying the foundation
If you choose to proceed, we’ll set you up with our financial planning software (set fee applies), which lets you gather all your financial details in one place. You’ll also receive our Before We Get Started book—written by our team to help you feel informed and confident. It explains essentials like KiwiSaver, investments, wills, and enduring powers of attorney in plain English.
3. Clarity through the data report
Once your data is entered, we prepare a data report—a snapshot of your current financial position. Our clients often tell us this gives them a sense of control and clarity early in the process.
4. Tailored plan – your financial roadmap
Next, with your permission, we create a personalised financial plan (also a set fee). This plan includes practical recommendations such as mortgage restructuring, KiwiSaver adjustments, investment strategies or estate planning—based entirely on your goals and comfort with risk.
5. Support with implementation
You can choose to implement the plan with us by your side, or take what you’ve learned and make changes yourself. We respect whichever path feels right to you.
6. Ongoing support – we’re here for the long haul
Clients who invest with us enjoy quarterly reports, annual reviews, and ready access to our team. We believe in personal service—when you call, we’ll answer with your name and a friendly voice, not an automated menu.
